Designing ZYPP for a connected world

Created using fitness training technology, ZYPP Technologies provides Physical Therapists with rehab program health informatics to improve patient outcomes with quantitative exercises and evaluations. 

We developed technology using wireless pressure and tension sensors. These sensors are sent to the app via bluetooth, allowing the ZYPP app to records and tracks patient session data. The data is tracked real-time and compared against motion guidelines and previous performance data. By evaluating performance, physical therapists can adjust future sessions to the patient’s trajectory and improve recovery time.

I designed a native mobile/tablet application for live patient tracking that connected locally to the sensors and sent data to the cloud. Therapists use the sensors and mobile app with their existing therapy equipment, turning conventional rehab equipment into smart connected devices.

I also designed the responsive web application to manage patients, create and manage recovery programs, and monitor patient progress through data analytics.
